2008 Sourdough Results

When: June 20 and 21, 2008
Where: Big Dipper Ice Arena

The 2008 Sourdough Competition/Basic Skills/Test Session was a great success! The Club would like to thank all of the judges and volunteers who dedicated their time and helped make the event so much fun. The results pages are listed below. Congratulations to all skaters!

Skate With U.S. Program (Skating School)

The Skate with U.S. Program is a basic skating skills program (A.K.A. "Skating School") developed by the U.S. Figure Skating Association. The FFSC offers group skating lessons through this program encompassing beginning through advanced figure skating skills, beginning hockey skills, and beginning to advanced ice dance. Registration forms for this year-round program are available near the FFSC bulletin board at the Big Dipper Ice Arena or as a downloadable PDF (see below).

Changes: 2007-2008 Qualifying Competition Season

United States Figure Skating has made changes regarding: Sectional Entry Fees, Novice Pairs and Dance, Juvenile and Intermediate Pairs and Dance, and Competition Music Information Requirements. Please see the document below for more information.

Technical Rules Clarifications and Changes: 2007-2008

On May 7, 2007, the ISU issued Communication No. 1445 (PDF 168 Kb) pertaining to Single and Pair Skating. The U.S. Figure Skating Technical Group has agreed that these changes will take effect at all domestic non-qualifying events on or after June 10, 2007.
