Want to skate faster, stronger, and better? The Skate with U.S. Program is a basic skating skills program (A.K.A. "Learn to Skate") developed by the U.S. Figure Skating Association. The FFSC offers group skating lessons through this program encompassing beginning through advanced figure skating skills, beginning hockey skills, and beginning to advanced ice dance.
Freestyle Session/Power classCost is $108 for 12 sessions (continuing into July); $59 for 6 sessions; $5 Power only. The 2009 Sherwood Invitational competition will be held at Sherwood Ice Arena, OR from September 11-13. This non-qualifying competition is open to all registered eligible skaters of U.S. FIGURE SKATING. Eligibility for entry is governed as of tests passed on or before August 1, 2009 and age as of September 11, 2009. Adult skaters must be age 21 or older. Entries and fees must be postmarked on or before August 5, 2009. Discounts are provided to any "out of town" club that brings 5 or more competitors! The Tri-Cities Figure Skating Club would like to extend an invitation to all members for their Fun in the Sun Competition on August 14—16, 2009. This event will be held at the Toyota Arena in Kennewick, Washington. This competition is open to qualified skaters who are registered members of U.S. Figure Skating. Entries must be postmarked by July 10, 2009.
