    @NessaLoveWoahxP I started when I was 12 (a year ago) and I have to say, if you work hard and do your best you will get good results. Right now I am soon passing to the last stage of Juniors. So work hard and you will get there.

    @heartbandit99 try taking group lessons- that is how I started.

    I Love figure skating, and I have my own skates and all that, I really want to take lessons ( public or private) but my family ( or myself) cannot afford it. Just how much can you learn without lessons, and would you have to start at basic 1 if you did start lessons even if you already knew the moves up to Basic 5, say? Help greatly appreciated :) !

    @karynaluvspink my coach only charges 16 pound for my lesson but there’s a 6 pound charge to use the ice so in total it costs around 22pound for a half an hour lesson and rink time afterwards :)

    You can build your own ice rink. I was in showbiz and once we built, froze and struck an ice rink in just two days. They’ve even got plastic ice sheets that interlock together. Everybody could have a rink in their own back yard.

    omg this made me cry you’re such a good skater!!!! I’m 12 and started 2 years ago, and I compete pre preliminary, and this really impressed me since you’re only 9! keep going!!!!!! i wish we could meet in person one day you seem very nice :)

    @karynaluvspink Well, it varies from week to week, but with ice time, Gia’s training during competition season (Feb-Oct) can be as much as a thousand a week. Sometimes, it is much less.

    @karynaluvspink most coaches charge between $40 and $50 for a 30 minute lesson.

    @Kokotakis no. They are Paramounts in gold and I love them!!!! They are super light with the Pattern 99 toe pick and really help to propel you into the air.
