The Fairbanks Figure Skating Club is a non-profit organization, IRS 501(c)(3), dedicated to the sport of figure skating. Sponsorship of the FFSC ensures that high quality figure skating programs, competitions and shows will continue to be available to the community of Fairbanks. The Fundraising Committee, comprised of 3 or more members of the FFSC, organizes, coordinates and reports income from various fundraising efforts. These efforts include multiple activities including telephone marketing, individual skater marketing, concessions, car washes, garage sales, raffles and other legal non-profit gaming activities according to Alaskan statutes. Volunteer hours are recorded for fundraising as well as other volunteer hours. The Fundraising Committee will be responsible for following Alaska statutes with regard to gaming activities such as pull tabs and raffles.
